What are the responsibilities and job description for the Curing & Further Processing Staff Member position at Rice's Quality Meats?
Overview
The Curing & Further Processing position will involve a variety of tasks, including:
Curing, Racking, & Smoking Ham and Bacon
Preparing Seasonings and Marinating Products
Preparing Summer Sausage, Snack Sticks, and a variety of other products to be smoked and prepared for packaging
Slicing Bacon & Other Meats
Packaging Products
Cleaning
Completing Necessary HAACP paperwork
Moving Trays of Product Into and Out Of the Freezer
Customer Service
Requirements
Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs trays repeatedly throughout the day
Reliable transportation is a must
Meat or Food Handling experience desired, but not required. We can train anyone eager to learn
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
