New, community based independent pharmacy seeks qualified professional candidates for position as Pharmacy Technician.

Join our team and enjoy learning on the job! You will be working with Pharmacists to assist in all aspects of prescription satisfaction and delivery to customers. While experience is a plus, it is not required, we are willing to train for success.

A pharmacy technician license will be provided as part of the job, which will require a background check. Training is paid while you learn. An example of responsibilities of the position could include the following :
- Prescription Preparation: Receive, interpret, and process new or refill prescription requests. This includes typing, filling, and labeling medications.
- Dispensing Medication: Count, pour, and mix medications, including sterile or non-sterile compounding.
- Customer Service: Assist customers at the pharmacy counter, answer phone calls, and resolve insurance issues.
- Inventory Management: Stock shelves, organize inventory, check for expired medications, and order new supplies.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain patient records, process insurance claims, and operate cash registers.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all state/federal, HIPAA, and pharmacy-specific guidelines.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
