Urgent Hiring Rice Logistics Delivery Associate for HBA2

Rice Logistics is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages.

Commercial, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Benefits & Scheduling:

· Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week.

· Schedule for FT Team Members is a rotation where team members should not work more than 4 consecutive days, allowing for more personal time; everyone works at least one weekend day in their permanent schedule

· A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

Duties and Responsibilities

·Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.

·Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information. Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.

· Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies

·Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.

· Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions

· Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members

· Load and unload packages to be delivered Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers. Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation: Lift packages up to 70 lbs.

Able to deliver 80 packages day Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.

Requirements:

· Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license

· Authorized to work in the United States

· Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)

· Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

· Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

· Must accept text messages from Company managers and other authorized Company employees regarding your schedule, performance, and other Company matters on your personal cell phone

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1 WEEK to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver’s license.
