What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at Rice Lake Area School District?
Rice Lake Area School District is seeking an applicant to join our team as a full-time Licensed Athletic Trainer at Rice Lake High School. This position would be full-time (1.0 FTE - 40 hours per week) with some flexibility/opportunity during the summer to work part-time.
Job duties/responsibilities:
* This position is responsible for the professional care, injury prevention and rehabilitation of student-athletes with athletic-related injuries for a successful high school athletic department
* Serve as the primary caregiver for assigned varsity sports
* Assist with athletic development of the high school athletes
* Assist in daily operations of the Rice Lake High School Athletic Training Room
* Communicate regularly with leading Sports Medicine Physicians in the area
* Provide injury updates to coaches of assigned sports and other administrators when necessary
* Follow NATA Code of Ethics
* Give the best possible care of your patients
* Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
Education/Requirements:
- A master's degree from a CAATE - accredited program: BOC-certified and licensed athletic trainer, or eligible for licensure, in the state of Wisconsin.
