Job Summary
**FIRST REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS JANUARY 26TH
The Office Specialist - Civil Division coordinates clerical support to the Rice County Sheriff’s Civil Division, and performs duties of the Administrative Assistant in their absence or as needed. The Office Specialist provides clerical support to the Law Enforcement Center.
Examples of Duties
- Receives, coordinates and enters data of legal documents for service as received by attorneys, courts, and the public in the course of civil or criminal proceedings.
- Records financial information on papers served, garnishments, deputy standby on lockouts, etc.
- Schedules and assists deputy and attorneys with mortgage foreclosure sales as conducted in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Dept.
- Provides general administrative and clerical support for the Sheriff’s Office.
- Monitors OFP/HRO paperwork.
- Prepares documents for e-filing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Supplemental Information
HIRING RANGE / UNION: $25.86 - $27.02 per hour / GU – Grade 7
HOURS: Daytime hours, Mon—Fri with half hour lunch to equal 40 hours per week.
