What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect position at Riccione Resources, Inc.?
Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise Data & API Ecosystem, Azure, Hybrid/Dallas, TX
Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect with the vision to shape an enterprise data ecosystem and the drive to make it happen. You’ll own the design, scaling, and security of the integration layers from end to end—bridging advanced data engineering and data science as they move from legacy systems to a resilient, cloud-native (PaaS) future.
This isn’t a hands-off, theoretical gig. You’ll shape Enterprise Data API strategy, champion a production-ownership mindset, and architect the pipelines fueling machine learning models. If building secure, event-driven architectures excites you, and you’re eager to leave your mark on a fast-growing platform, let’s talk.

What will you be doing?
- Architect and govern the end-to-end API security and integration layer, ensuring high performance, zero-trust security, and seamless developer adoption.
- Unify data pipelines with predictive analytics, harnessing the power of SQL ML to seamlessly deploy, score, and manage machine learning models right within our data platforms.
- Champion a PaaS-first approach on Azure, embracing event-driven architectures to transform batch processing into real-time, responsive solutions.
- Scale our modern data ecosystem—optimizing Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and advanced SQL environments—to handle massive scale, high concurrency, and sophisticated analytics with ease.
- Work side-by-side with engineering teams to design, refine, and advance Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Drive automation of data infrastructure, API components, and complex database schemas for streamlined deployments.
- Automate and validate every step by enforcing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and building robust automated testing frameworks for data pipelines—eliminating manual deployments and slashing production downtime.
- Foster a culture of reliability, proactive monitoring, and genuine production ownership across all data and integration domains.
- Own the API security architecture, delivering airtight authentication, rock-solid authorization, and end-to-end data encryption—both at rest and in transit.

- 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience as a Solutions Architect, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade cloud platforms.
- Deep, practical expertise in Azure Cloud Native (PaaS) architectures, event-driven design patterns, and enterprise integration.
- Hands-on data architectural experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and relational SQL ecosystems.
- Direct experience architecting platforms that connect data science to production, specifically using SQL ML for model deployment and scoring.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, version control, and automating data infrastructure or schema rollouts via IaC.

- Ability to work a Hybrid schedule (3 days a week onsite) in a collaborative environment.
What will make your résumé stand out?
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Databricks Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Data Engineer Associate).
- Familiarity with advanced automated testing frameworks and data observability tools specifically tailored for data validation and pipeline integrity (e.g., Great Expectations, dbt test, Deequ, Soda, or Monte Carlo).
- Conceptual or practical experience implementing decentralized Data Mesh or Data Fabric architectures to eliminate monolithic data bottlenecks and enable domain-driven data ownership.
