What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Riccelli-Northern?
Job Duties:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform sampling and testing of asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
- Conduct field density, mositure, and gradation tests.
- Document and report test results accurately.
- Ensure materials meet DOT and project specifications.
- Communicate quality issues and support troubleshooting.
- Maintain testing equipment and assist with plant/field inspections.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction materials testing preferred; training available.
- Ability to work outdoors, travel to job sites, and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Familiarity with asphalt, concrete, or aggregate specs is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
