Role Description
This is an unpaid summer internship opportunity based Irving, TX. The Summer Intern will perform a variety of tasks to support the Foundation’s initiatives, including assisting with community outreach campaigns, coordinating programs and events, conducting research, creating written materials, and supporting administrative tasks. The role will include collaborating with various teams, maintaining open communication with partner organizations, and contributing to projects that advance the Foundation’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Communication, Writing, and Editing to assist with written materials, reports, and presentations.
- Research and Organizational skills to support program development and campaign planning.
- Team Collaboration and Relationship-Building abilities to effectively coordinate with staff, volunteers, and partner organizations.
- Passionate about oncology care, patient support, or nonprofit work; prior experience in healthcare or related fields is a bonus.
- Pursuing or having completed an undergraduate degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of design or presentation tools is a plus.
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and commitment to the Foundation’s mission.
