Overview
Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who enjoys making patients feel welcomed and cared for? We are looking for a friendly and reliable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team and help create a smooth, positive experience for every patient. In this role, you will support both clinical and administrative needs, assist providers, maintain accurate documentation, and help keep patient care moving efficiently throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while helping them feel informed and comfortable
- Support physicians with clinical tasks such as injections, venipunctures, and EKGs
- Operate EHR systems efficiently to document patient encounters accurately and maintain medical records
- Support laboratory procedures including specimen collection and processing
- Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness
- Provide patient service by answering questions, offering education on treatments or medications (as instructed by the physician), and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification (required)
- Experience in Primary Care is a plus, but we welcome motivated candidates who are eager to contribute and grow
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and ICD coding
- Familiarity with EHR systems and outpatient clinic workflows
- Ability to perform clinical procedures including intake assessments, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and assist with minor procedures
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Strong patient service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work independently or with a team

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
