About Us
Rica Recycling is Hayward’s trusted local e-waste recycling company. We help businesses and residents responsibly recycle electronics, keeping valuable materials out of landfills. We’re looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our warehouse operations and assist with local pick-ups.
Job Responsibilities
- Sort, dismantle, and process incoming electronic equipment
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Load and unload trucks and handle materials up to 50 lbs
- Drive a Class C vehicle (non-commercial) for scheduled e-waste pick-ups at customer sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse
- Assist with inventory management and recordkeeping
- Provide excellent customer service during pick-ups and at the warehouse
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to get hands dirty
- Ability to take feedback with a growth mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers
