The Salesforce Business Analyst works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires evaluating intangibles. This role exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. The Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for leading the implementation of cloud-based solutions using Salesforce.com and must demonstrate progressive leadership in the software development environment's full life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Consult with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.
- Lead Salesforce development projects from conceptualization to implementation
- Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.
- Gather, organize, and document business requirements and process definition outlines and flows in shareable, actionable, standardized formats.
- Define, document and groom user stories and business processes.
- Contribute to solution designs, testing plans and execution, as well as the training, troubleshooting, and project management aspects of addressing business and operational needs.
- Execute a plan to improve the user experience, promote adoption, and monitor and improve policies and compliance
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Required Certification
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
Qualification
- 4 years Salesforce experience with technical aptitude, business analysis skills, and demonstrated leadership experience
- Demonstrated capability roadmap and enterprise-level service-oriented architecture articulation and implementation skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and represent business objectives and requirements and convert them into solution designs
- Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) project methodologies and development practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment, and test-driven development and continuous integration
- Experience managing a project or serving as a project team lead on the implementation of an enterprise system.
- Received 100% business sign-off on user stories/requirements prior to start of development sprints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws
