Role : Irvine, CA / Remote
We are seeking a Power BI & Power Platform Developer to support our Commercial Data & Analytics team by delivering dashboards, semantic models, and solutions that enable insight, automation, and data‑driven decision‑making across the business. This role combines hands‑on Power BI development with Power Platform capabilities to improve reporting, automate business processes, and enhance self‑service analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards to support business and analytics needs
- Build and manage Power BI semantic models, including relationships, measures, and calculations using DAX
- Develop Power Apps to support analytics workflows, data capture, and business processes
- Integrate Power Apps with underlying data sources (SQL databases, Power BI semantic models, and other enterprise systems)
- Create Power Automate flows to automate business processes, report distribution, data validation, and operational workflows
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across Power BI reports and Power Platform applications
- Optimize Power BI models and reports for performance, scalability, and user experience
- Support deployment, security, access management, and refresh schedules within the Power BI and Power Platform environments
- Troubleshoot data, performance, and integration issues across BI and Power Platform solutions
- Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, apps, and automation workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data development roles
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI (Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service)
- Experience with CI/CD deployment
- Solid experience with DAX, data modeling, and dimensional modeling concepts
- Working knowledge of Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, user‑friendly dashboards and applications
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability
- Effective communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise analytics or self‑service BI environments
- Familiarity with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)
- Experience integrating Power BI and Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems
- Exposure to data governance, security, or semantic model standards
- Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
