- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) and distributed control systems (DCS) for system management and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment repair to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Collect and analyze data related to water treatment processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of tanks and plumbing systems to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as necessary for equipment installation or repair.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to wastewater management.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment operation and repair.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in basic math for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Experience operating tankers or similar vehicles within the industry.
