Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Contrast Supervision | Colorado Springs, CO
Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations
Employment Type: PRN - not eligible for benefits
Shift availability includes weekday hours between 8am to 8pm and occasional weekends
Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnosis no matter their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.
Summary of Position: Provides supervision of CT and MR contrast studies ensuring safe administration and high-quality clinical care in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Responds to patients’ adverse reaction to contrast media if necessary. Represents ISJ’s mission to be the provider of choice by creating a welcoming environment, delivering compassionate care, taking ownership of the patient experience and actively supporting other team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise contrast studies for MRI and CT exams on weekdays, evenings, or weekends.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- At least 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Must be able to work independently
- Exceptional patient skills and customer service a must
Education Requirements:
- Masters degree required
- Licensure in the state of Colorado
- Current BLS certification required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Compensation and Benefits:
- Rate is $75 per hour
- Position is not benefits eligible
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates' reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will remain open until filled.

Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. PRN employees are not eligible for benefits.
