Duties
- Safely operate a sightseeing tour bus, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide engaging commentary and information about local attractions to enhance passenger experience
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the bus, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and securing seat belts to ensure comfort and safety
- Manage scheduling and route adherence to deliver timely tours while maintaining flexibility for special requests or detours
- Communicate clearly with team members and passengers using effective communication skills in English
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents during tours
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger vehicles (e.g., P endorsement)
- Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or similar transportation roles such as school bus or limousine driving
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance or troubleshooting of the bus
- Familiarity with paratransit services or motor coach operations is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Prior delivery driver experience or shuttle driving background is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to bus driving and maintenance procedures
- Ability to handle diverse situations calmly and professionally while maintaining high energy levels
