Operations Lead to join our team in Irvine, California.
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly capable Operations Lead to take ownership of our day-to-day execution across 3PL, dispatch, and sales operations. This is a critical role focused on ensuring orders move efficiently, partners perform, and operations directly support strong financial outcomes. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams, acting as the go-to owner for fulfillment performance, dispatch efficiency, and operational systems.
What You’ll Own
3PL & Fulfillment Performance
- Own day-to-day relationship with 3PL partners
- Ensure SLAs are met across order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory handling
- Identify issues quickly and drive resolution with partners
- Hold 3PLs accountable through metrics and regular performance reviews
Dispatch & Order Flow
- Oversee dispatch planning and execution
- Continuously improve routing, delivery timing, and cost efficiency
- Understand and optimize how orders move from placement to delivery
- Reduce delays, errors, and unnecessary costs
Sales Operations Support
- Ensure smooth order processing across wholesale and eCommerce channels
- Partner with sales to align on order flow, timing, and execution
- Help bridge gaps between demand, inventory, and fulfillment
Financial & Business Impact
- Understand how operational decisions impact margins, cash flow, and working capital
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across logistics and fulfillment
- Build and maintain reporting to track performance and drive decisions
Systems & Process Improvement
- Work within and improve ERP, WMS, and OMS systems
- Drive better processes, automation, and data accuracy
- Create scalable workflows as the business grows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with finance, inventory, and sales to align operations with business needs
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external partners
- Act as the operational bridge across departments
What We’re Looking For
- 5-8 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong experience managing 3PL partners and fulfillment operations
- Deep understanding of dispatch, routing, and delivery workflows
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience
- Experience with ERP/WMS/OMS systems
- Background in wholesale operations; eCommerce experience is a plus
- Strong communicator who can manage both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
- Strong operational understanding of inventory systems and how they flow through 3PL, fulfillment, and sales channels (SOH, inbound POs, allocations, sell-through awareness)
