Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to join our team based at our US Headquarters in Irvine, California.

This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience across our direct-to-consumer channels. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping to resolve inquiries, provide product and order support, and ensure every interaction reflects the Rhythm brand.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys helping people, solving problems and working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment. You are organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working across multiple systems while maintaining a customer-first mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily customer inquiries across email, live chat and phone channels
  • Provide timely and professional support relating to orders, shipping, returns, exchanges, warranties and product information
  • Use Shopify and Gorgias to manage customer communications and order-related requests
  • Coordinate with our fulfilment and logistics partners to investigate delivery issues, tracking requests, lost parcels and order discrepancies
  • Process customer returns, refunds, exchanges and replacements in accordance with company policies
  • Escalate complex customer issues where required and follow through to resolution
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge across all Rhythm categories
  • Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to improve processes, products and customer experience
  • Assist with customer experience reporting and administrative tasks as required
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a professional, empathetic and brand-aligned manner


Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within eCommerce, retail or apparel
  • Experience using Shopify, Gorgias or similar customer support platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer support
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with fulfillment, warehouse and cross-functional teams
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
