About the Role
Our client, a renowned design studio known for crafting luxury workplace environments that marry hospitality sensibilities with high-performance design, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their New York team. This is an opportunity to contribute to sophisticated, experiential workspaces where beauty meets function — blending the refinement of hospitality design with the innovation of contemporary office environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of luxury workspace projects from concept through completion.
- Collaborate closely with architects, design directors, and clients in a highly creative and supportive environment.
- Oversee all phases of design including space planning, FF&E, custom detailing, and presentation materials.
- Manage client relationships and guide presentations with confidence and professionalism.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leverage existing and new manufacturer and vendor relationships to source exceptional finishes, materials, and furnishings.
- Ensure the delivery of design excellence and technical precision across multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience in interior design, with at least 5 years in workplace or hospitality environments.
- Proven ability to lead design direction and manage project teams through all phases.
- Proficiency in Revit (essential), with strong working knowledge of Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating custom millwork, bespoke detailing, and material sophistication.
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
- Established network of vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
