Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, adhering to alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during catering events or restaurant service.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet facilities.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
- Previous experience in hospitality roles involving brewing, catering, or food industry settings is advantageous.
