Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments, including hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Your dedication to patient-centered care and technical proficiency will help ensure optimal respiratory health for our patients at every stage of life. We are open Monday-Friday 9-6 and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, lung sounds, oxygen saturation levels, and medical history.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment such as nebulizers, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory devices.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using Brightree while maintaining compliance with insurance policies.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pulmonology concepts.
- Hands-on experience with respiratory therapy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond effectively to acute care needs across various age groups.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work well with patients, doctor offices, and staff.
