Part-Time Nanny Needed | Loving Family Seeking Long-Term Fit
We are a warm, easygoing family looking for a caring, dependable part-time nanny to care for our young son in our home. Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, is reliable, and wants to become a trusted part of our family's routine.
We offer competitive pay, a flexible schedule, and a positive, respectful work environment, and we're hoping to find someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our family.
Schedule
- Part-time (approximately 20–30 hours per week)
- Weekday hours
- Consistent schedule preferred but we can be flexible for the right fit
Responsibilities
Our priority is providing attentive, engaging care for our son. Responsibilities include:
- Planning age-appropriate activities, reading, crafts, and outdoor play
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for our child
- Cleaning up after meals and activities
- Keeping play areas and toys organized
- Children's laundry during nap time, as needed
- Light housekeeping to help keep our home running smoothly (such as unloading the dishwasher, wiping kitchen counters, tidying common living areas, and occasional folding of family laundry)
- Occasional grocery pickup while our son is napping
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Kind, patient, nurturing, and dependable
- Experienced caring for infants and/or toddlers
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification)
- Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable providing references and completing a background check
- Comfortable around two friendly Labrador Retrievers
- Bilingual is a huge plus! We would love to expose our son to a second language, but it is not required.
Compensation: $16–18/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications
- Compensation will be reviewed after a 30–60 day trial period, with the opportunity for an increase based on performance, reliability, and overall fit with our family.
- Ongoing performance reviews and opportunities for future pay increases over time

We're looking for someone who will become an extension of our family and provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment where our son can learn, play, and grow. We value kindness, open communication, reliability, and mutual respect, and we hope to find someone who shares those values.
Bonus if you're a dog lover—our two friendly Labrador Retrievers are very much part of the family! We occasionally travel, so there may also be opportunities for additional paid hours through house sitting and caring for our dogs while we're away.
