Rhode Island Hospital is hiring three Perioperative Assistant Clinical Managers; each aligned to a key surgical specialty:
- Orthopedics
- Plastics / GU / Burn
- General Surgery
In this hands-on leadership role, you will support daily operations, guide clinical teams, and ensure seamless patient care within your assigned specialty.

What You Will Do
Lead Daily OR Operations
- Oversee case flow, staffing adjustments, and scheduling within your specialty
- Serve as a key liaison between surgeons, staff, and leadership
Provide Real-Time Clinical Leadership
- Support RNs and surgical teams during procedures
- Ensure equipment, supplies, and instruments are fully prepared
Develop and Support Your Team
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and inclusion
Drive Quality, Safety, and Efficiency
- Support improvement efforts and regulatory compliance
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to Joint Commission standards
Support Operational Stewardship
- Promote efficient supply and equipment use
- Contribute to operational and budget awareness
What You Bring
- Active RI RN license
- 2 years perioperative experience
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to lead in a fast-paced OR
Preferred:
- BSN, CNOR, and AORN membership
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, day shift
- Salary: $90,334 – $180,689
