The RoleRhode Island Fast Ferry is seeking Ticket Agents / Customer Service Representatives for our summer season (May - October). These are full-time, seasonal positions based at our North Kingstown terminal.
This is a great opportunity for high school and college students, or anyone looking for a fast-paced, customer-focused role. As a front-line team member, you'll be the first point of contact for passengershandling ticketing, answering questions, and helping ensure a smooth travel experience.
What You'll Do- Assist customers with ticket purchases, reservations, and check-in
- Answer phones and provide accurate information about schedules, fares, and services
- Help customers plan trips and resolve issues professionally
- Process transactions and handle cash/credit payments
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Maintain a friendly, organized, and efficient front desk environment
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable interacting with customers and handling questions or concerns
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Previous customer service or retail experience (preferred)
