RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electronic claim processing
- Insurance verification & prior authorization
- Denial and appeal management
- Patient billing & collections
- Detailed monthly reporting
- Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies
- Review and correct rejected or denied claims
- Post insurance and patient payments
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Communicate with patients and insurance providers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Office ally knowledge a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical biller
- Proficiency with EMR
