About RICERP
Rhode Island Center for Eating Recovery & Performance (RICERP) is a multidisciplinary outpatient practice offering psychiatry, therapy, nutrition counseling, and movement/performance coaching to patients recovering from eating disorders. We were founded to fill a gap in Rhode Island for comprehensive, team-based eating recovery and performance care.
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team on a part-time basis, with room to grow. This role is ideal for a clinician with experience treating patients with eating disorders who wants to practice within a truly integrated, multidisciplinary setting rather than in isolation. Experience working with athletes is a strong plus, given RICERP's performance-focused patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for patients with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions
- Collaborate closely with RICERP's medical director, therapists, dietitians, and movement/performance staff as part of an integrated care team
- Maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation within our EMR (SimplePractice)
- Participate in weekly group clinical supervision
- Stay current with RICERP's annual required trainings
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in Rhode Island required at time of application
- Experience treating patients with eating disorders preferred
- Experience working with athletes strongly preferred
- Comfort working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting schedule: $100/hour guaranteed for the first 7 hours/week; hours beyond that are compensated under a productivity (percentage of billable) model
