Job Summary
We are seeking a willing to learn or skilled and energetic GSE (Ground Support Equipment) Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of ground support equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations across our facilities. Your expertise will help keep our fleet of heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and vehicle systems in top condition, supporting seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on ground support equipment
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, air brake systems, HVAC units, and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet operational specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records of all repairs and maintenance activities for compliance and operational tracking.
- Assist with equipment assembly, installation, and testing to ensure safety standards are met before deployment.
- Support tire service tasks such as mounting/dismounting tires and performing wheel alignments to maximize vehicle safety and efficiency.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
