About Us: Rhoades to Wellness is a boutique wellness studio in San Francisco's Union Street neighborhood specializing in personalized Pilates, infrared sauna therapy, and rehabilitation. We create a calm, inclusive space where clients can move, heal, and thrive at their own pace. Our approach is grounded in science and delivered with care, supporting each client's unique wellness journey.
The Role: We're looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Front Desk Associate to be the welcoming face of our studio. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a wellness environment, and enjoys being hands-on with day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming studio atmosphere
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage the studio calendar
- Process payments and handle front desk transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment including equipment and common areas
- Clean and maintain the infrared sauna between sessions
- Walk new clients through their first sauna session and answer questions
- Support studio operations and assist with special projects as needed
What We're Looking For:
- A self-starter with excellent problem solving skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable with technology and scheduling software
- Interest in Pilates, wellness, and fitness is a plus
- Shifts: Mon/Tues/Thurs 3pm - 7pm with possibility for more shifts in the near future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales/Customer Service background
- Experience working in the wellness/fitness industry
- Ability to take initiative to anticipate the needs of the business
- This job is perfect for an outgoing people person who loves speaking and connecting with new people
