Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft and accompanying software
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Stay updated on current dental practices and advancements through continuing education
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Active, valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, and medical coding systems
- Excellent knowledge of oral anatomy and dental procedures
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Commitment to delivering expectional patient care and bedside manner
- Ability to work efectively as part of a collaborative team
