What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist position at RHIZOME LLC?
ABOUT THE ROLE
You are the first face our patients see and the first voice they hear. This role is about more than managing appointments — it is about making our patients feel welcome and safe from the moment they walk through the door or call us on the phone.
You will work closely with our clinical and operations team in a fast-paced but collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Welcome patients warmly upon arrival and check them in through the EMR
* Answer incoming calls — triage and direct to the right team member
* Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
* Confirm next-day appointments at end of each day
* Check out patients and confirm their next appointment before they leave
* Contact patients who are missing consent forms or photos on file
* Document all calls and patient messages in EMR
* Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
* Support the team with any administrative tasks as needed
