The Company
Rhize is a licensed cannabis cultivator and product manufacturer in Fairfax, VT. We grow, process, and distribute our own products including flower, rosin, prerolls, and more. Small team, high standards, hands-on work.

The Role
We're looking for a Production Technician to join us. You'll work across the production but may specialize depending on interests & skills. This isn't a single-task job. You'll learn many stations and be expected to execute quality work independently.

More Specifically…
- Cleaning and maintaining grow rooms and processing areas
- Equipment setup and basic maintenance
- Following compliance and documentation requirements
- Packaging and labeling finished products
- Order fulfillment picking & packing
- Preroll production: grinding, rolling, tubing, labeling
- Plant care: watching, watering, pruning, transplanting
- Harvest: trimming, sorting, weighing, data collection
- Deep clean: Room turnover between cycles
- Maintaining irrigation & environmental control equipment
Requirements
- Age: 21
- Must meet VT Cannabis Control Board requirements for an employee ID card
- 1 year of experience in production, manufacturing, agriculture, or similar hands-on work environment
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable. You show up on time, every day.
- Work on your feet, indoors. Stand, or sit, for extended periods, and work in warm/humid/bright environments.
Preferred Experience
- Cannabis cultivation or processing experience
- Knowledge of plant biology, horticulture, or agriculture
- Familiarity with hash making, extraction, or concentrate production
- Experience with packaging, labeling, or order fulfillment
- Comfort with basic tools, equipment maintenance, mechanical work, and data collection
Cannabis experience is a plus, but if you have any hands-on backgrounds where precision, hard work, and problem solving matter i.e. trades, agriculture, manufacturing, lab work, kitchens, etc., you are encouraged to apply.
Growth Path
Production Assistant → Production Technician → Production Specialist → Production Manager
