Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex mechanical/electrical assemblies with high accuracy
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Verify parts and assemblies meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and rework components when necessary
- Train and mentor Assembler I team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with production procedures
- Suggest process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
Required Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency with intermediate assembly techniques
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Competence with measuring tools, torque tools, and specialized equipment
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Solid understanding of quality control principles
Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical/electrical work
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Repetitive use of hands and tools required.
