Excavation Laborer

The Excavation Crew member is responsible for daily task on job sites.

Daily task include:

• Assisting with loading and unloading supplies, materials and equipment
• Various labor-related tasks including hand-digging with a shovel, spreading stone with rack. Spreading concrete.
• Cleans up job sites and equipment
• Assists with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials * Assist with lifting heavy materials such as large bags of concrete ADDITIONAL
• Performs other duties, as needed and when assigned

• Operate equipment like jackhammers, concrete saws.
• Learn to operate various excavation equipment including skid-loaders, mini-excavators.
• With valid driver’s license and good driving record, may drive various company vehicles.
• Learn to read blue-prints, and to site elevations.

QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must provide own transportation to shop or work site each day. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs., push and pull up to 80 lbs., and stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours each day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
