Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, kitchen support, or host/hostess duties as needed to support team operations
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems for efficient order processing
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle guest concerns professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in serving, bussing tables, or as a host/hostess is highly desirable
