Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Wash Bay Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for washing, inspecting, and prepping a variety of heavy equipment for customers, rentals, and our paint shop, as well as keeping the shop clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Washing & Prep: Pressure wash and detail customer machines, reconditioned equipment, paint-ready inventory, and returned rental units.
- Basic Maintenance: Top off essential fluids, grease machines according to service schedules, and fuel equipment as needed.
- Facility Upkeep: Clean and maintain the wash bay area daily, sweep the shop's center aisle daily, empty shop trash daily, and collect business-wide trash twice a week.
- Equipment Operation: Safely drive and maneuver heavy machinery, including skid steers, excavators, and tractors, around the yard and service bays.
- Assembly & Support: Assist with light mechanical assembly of machines on an occasional basis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment (skid steers, excavators, tractors, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with high-pressure washing equipment and basic machine maintenance (greasing, fluids) is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
