You will protect 350 employees by ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening our zero‑tolerance safety culture, and influencing daily behaviors that keep our operation running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Safety Culture
- Lead by example and set the tone for safety across the facility
- Coach and influence managers and employees to uphold HSE expectations
- Conduct risk assessments and lead Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
- Promote continuous improvement and accountability in safety practices
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations
- Complete compliance calendar tasks and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare and submit required environmental permits and reporting
- Represent RHIM during internal and external audits
- Deliver HSE training, including new‑hire orientation
- Investigate injuries, incidents, and near misses; drive corrective actions
- Support emergency response efforts when situations arise
- Provide regulatory guidance to leaders and employees
- Conduct inspections, audits, and ergonomic assessments
- Maintain HSE KPIs, case files, metrics, and performance data
- Partner with teams to identify risks and implement solutions
- Support ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001-related processes
Education & Credentials
- Required: Associate’s degree in HSE, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Preferred Certifications: GSP or ASP
- 4 years of HSE experience preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance processes
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments
- Proven ability to deliver effective HSE training and communicate safety expectations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, reporting systems, and cloud‑based platforms
- This is a 2nd shift role, generally 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with some flexibility to shift slightly later (such as 3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM) based on plant activity. Evening presence is important, but we work with you to find the best fit within that window.
- Monday–Friday, minimum 40 hours; occasional after‑hours or weekend needs
- Combination of office and in‑plant environments with exposure to temperature changes, noise, dust, and production areas
- Minimal travel requirements
