What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at Rheumatology of Central Indiana?
Rheumatology of Central Indiana is the leading rheumatology practice in East Indiana. We have 6 locations in 6 different cities. The provider hired will work in our Kokomo location with limited coverage to our Marion location as well.
We are looking for an exceptional provider who will be an asset to the practice. Compensation is above most of the similar outpatient practices and competitors but quality of care of the provider is crucial for the position.
We are looking for experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant preferably but necessary knowledge in the field of rheumatology. A minimum in internship in rheumatology is preferred. A Master’s degree with boards passed for NP or PA is required (ready for credentialing process).
The qualified applicant will be following and collaborating with a physician in specialty practice for rheumatology and following up with chronically ill patients in an office setting. Also monitoring and/or assisting infusion patients and overseeing nursing protocols/application alongside the clinical manager.
Salary will be discussed in the interview process/negotiation of contract.
