ARC Arthritis & Rheumatology is a growing, patient-centered specialty practice committed to delivering high-quality care with operational excellence. Our team includes a medical director, advanced practitioners, and a dedicated clinical and administrative staff focused on improving patient outcomes and practice performance.
We are seeking a results-driven Practice Manager to lead daily operations, drive performance metrics, and strengthen organizational structure.
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational functions of the practice, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and financial performance. This role requires a strong leader who can translate strategy into execution, manage teams effectively, and drive measurable results.
This is an in-office leadership role, with required presence across locations, including 2 days per week in Orlando and 3 in Davenport.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all office locations
- Lead and manage administrative and support staff (front desk, MAs, referrals, billing coordination)
- Ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and accountability across teams
- Partner with Medical Director and leadership on strategic planning and execution
Financial Performance & KPIs
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Provider utilization (target ~90%)
- Time of Service collections
- Accounts receivable and billing performance
- Ensure accurate reporting (P&L awareness, operational metrics, collections tracking)
- Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans to meet benchmarks
Revenue Cycle Oversight
- Oversee billing processes, collections, authorizations, and denial management
- Ensure billing team meets industry benchmarks and performance standards
- Serve as liaison with payers, billing vendors, and platforms
Team Development & Accountability
- Establish clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training in collaboration with leadership
- Conduct regular performance check-ins and ensure accountability across roles
- Foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Systems & Process Improvement
- Optimize systems, workflows, and communication processes
- Ensure technology platforms are used effectively and efficiently
- Lead implementation of operational improvements and new initiative
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience (multi-site preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, healthcare management or industrial psychology preferred
- Billing/coding certification strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical operations, billing, and revenue cycle management
- Experience with KPI tracking, reporting, and performance improvement
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to analyze data and drive decision-making
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Compensation & Growth
- Based salary 65k-70k
