What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practictioner position at Rheumatology Center of New Jersey?
- Physician-owned, multi-location rheumatology practice with a strong referral base and established patient volume. We offer in-office infusion therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and on-site lab services, allowing providers to practice comprehensive, high-quality care in an efficient outpatient setting.
We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with 3 years of clinical experience to join our growing team.
Rheumatology experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with backgrounds in orthopedics, pain management, or internal medicine who are comfortable managing patients are encouraged to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider looking to build a stable patient panel and significantly grow their income over time.
- Evaluate and manage patients with rheumatologic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop treatment plans including biologics, DMARDs, and injections
- Collaborate closely with physicians in a team-based model
- Maintain efficient documentation in EMR (NextGen experience a plus)
- Build long-term patient relationships in a continuity-focused practice
- In-office infusion suite
- In-office laboratory
- Mainly outpatient clinic with few inpatient consultation

- Base Salary: $105,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
- Production Bonus: Typically $10,000 annually, with upside beyond that
- Bonus based on a percentage of collections above a defined threshold
- High-performing providers can significantly exceed bonus expectations
