2nd Shift Warehouse Administrator

Job Title: Warehouse Administrator – 2nd Shift
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Reports To: Fulfillment Manager

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials and products. This role supports on-time delivery objectives, process improvements, and overall warehouse organization and safety.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

• Conduct accurate physical inventory counts; update inventory systems and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Enter all required information into the company’s inventory and order processing databases.
• Ensure all products are stored in their correct, designated warehouse locations.

Material Receiving

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and in-process products.
• Verify shipments against acceptance criteria and accurately log items into the inventory system.
• Identify, segregate, and report damaged or non-conforming materials.

Shipping & Logistics

• Prepare shipping labels and verify product information against sales orders.
• Package materials to minimize risk of damage during transport.
• Schedule and track shipments through UPS, FedEx, and LTL carriers using their electronic systems.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs within shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
• Assist with planning and implementing process improvement initiatives.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure shipment accuracy and adherence to company specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or working in a production/distribution environment.
• Proven ability to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent, high-quality work output.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to recommend and support process improvements.
• Ability to maintain organization and uphold safety protocols.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery and varying temperatures (including warm, refrigerated, and freezer environments).
• Noise levels range from moderate to loud.
• Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 35 feet.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
• Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, or kneel.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Approximately 75% or more of the shift will be spent on foot.
