The physical heart of Rhee Brothers is our main distribution center in Hanover, MD. Our warehouse and transportation teams handle over 20,000 cases of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products every day. Food quality is paramount to our customers and we pride ourselves on the safety and cleanliness of our 230,000 square-foot warehouse. Rhee Bros is a third party food safety audited facility.
Position: 2nd Shift Reach Lift Operator
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Reports To: Fulfillment Manager
This is a unionized position and is covered under the terms of a collective bargaining agreement. In addition to the base hourly wage, this position qualifies for night shift and equipment operation premiums.
Job Summary:
The Reach Lift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices, such as forklifts or elevating platforms. Primary duties include receiving pallets and performing replenishment tasks in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach lifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and effectively
- Receive and replenish inventory as directed
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience with a computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, reach, and lift continuously throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures (dry, refrigerated, frozen)
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
