POSITION: Registered Nurse
Emergency Department
HOURS: Full-Time Night shift
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Complete a successful fit test for N95 respirator.
- Ability to maintain patience and to use tact in dealing with patients, visitors and fellow employees.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- At least one year of job experience in emergency department strongly preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, bend, transfer, transport or re-position patients with assistance.
- Able to assess patients’ vital signs, condition, recognizing need for intervention.
