What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Marketing Associate position at RHE Hatco?
About Us
Hatco Digital is a fast-growing company at the crossroads of Western heritage and modern e-commerce. We manage and grow some of the most respected brands in the Western lifestyle industry — brands synonymous with quality, craftsmanship, and the cowboy way of life.
We’re expanding our marketing team and looking for a versatile, resourceful individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. If you’re a problem solver who enjoys wearing many hats (literally and figuratively), this could be the perfect fit.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Content Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This person will work directly under the Social Media Manager and support the day-to-day execution of content, campaigns, and community engagement across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a team player, follows direction well, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done. While this role doesn’t require years of experience, we are looking for someone with a solid understanding of social media best practices and a portfolio or examples of previous work.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Support: Assist in the creation, scheduling, and posting of content (graphics, captions, videos, stories, etc.) across multiple social media platforms. Campaign Execution: Help execute social media campaigns and promotions, including giveaways, seasonal pushes, and product launches.
- Community Engagement: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond appropriately or escalate when necessary to maintain strong engagement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date on social trends, memes, and platform updates and recommend ways to incorporate them.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Manager, content creators, and marketing team to align on messaging, branding, and strategy.
- Analytics Support: Assist in collecting basic performance data and preparing reports as needed.
- Asset Organization: Keep track of creative assets, post schedules, and calendars to ensure organization and timeliness.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Some prior experience managing or creating content for social media accounts (brand, personal project, internship, etc.). Please include examples or links with your application.
- Creativity: A good eye for engaging content, design, or captions, even if you're not a designer yourself
- Communication: Strong written communication skills and attention to tone and brand voice.
- Team Player: Able to work well with others, take direction, and give input respectfully and constructively.
- Self-Starter: Willing to take initiative, stay organized, and complete tasks without being micromanaged.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Professionalism: Able to take feedback, pivot quickly, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
