This role is responsible for the internal operations of our Contract Interior Design team which supports our disruptive design-to delivery product service offer to Hospitality customers, as well as acting as project manager for all large-scale hospitality projects.
The role scope extends from aiding in the development of tools and processes to elevate our interior design capabilities to acting as the project manager on large hotel guestroom remodels working directly with hotel brands and ownership groups.

Your Responsibilities
- Live our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
- Master the RH Design Ethos and ensure that they key tenets (e.g. balance, symmetry and proportion; less is more; calm created through continuity) are reflected in all our Contract interior design work
- Develop/Improve internal processes to improve Contract Design Team efficiency, e.g., timesheet management, profitability tracking, pipeline tracking, staffing.
- Manage large hospitality projects as client liaison, in cross-functional partnership with sales leader and lead designer.
- Assist with shop drawings, project submittals, etc. to support design team as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with management, clients, consultants and contractors related to daily business operations
- Architecture/Interior Design degree and certification
- 8 years of experience in Project/Operations management for large scale Hospitality Design interior design projects
- Solid understanding of the Hospitality Design segment and how to engage with client’s project teams for successful project completion
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, meeting customers and working on design projects
- Ability to communicate effectively in presentations and in writing.
- Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors
- Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
