About the Position: Serves as Deputy Chief, Operations Division. The Omaha District Operations Division has responsibility for overall management, direction, supervision and direct labor; operations, maintenance and repair of all project waterways and permanent project facilities within the District AOR spanning seven states and including 27 dams.

Specialized Experience: Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in ALL the following areas: (1) Program planning, resourcing, policy guidance and overall staff operations for an organization; AND (2) developing program goals and objectives in support of projects and technical operations in at least ONE of the following areas: locks and dams, navigation, environmental stewardship, flood control, hydropower generation, and recreation resources and facilities; AND (3) experience reviewing and making recommendations for operating budgets.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
