What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Technician position at RH massage LLC?
We are small local owned massage spa looking to add one to two massage techs or LMT to our staff. We have over 2000 clients in our database system and have outgrown the ability to meet the needs of our clients. Training is available for the right candidates. This position is part time with potential to be full-time. Position is paid commission plus tips.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients
- Provide acute pain management through various techniques and provide relaxation through appropriate massage techniques
- Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to inform treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist front desk with duties
Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomical structures
- Strong knowledge of physiology and its application to patient care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
