We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Services Liaison to serve as a vital link between our participating clinics and providers and our organization. This role involves facilitating communication, coordinating trainings and meetings with different levels of clinic's personnel, and ensuring seamless integration of value-based care standards within our ACO care delivery model. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, good professional rapport, basic clinic administrative operations knowledge, and great initiative and drive to learn!
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison and enhance the communication among our organization and our participating clinics, physicians, providers, and their are teams in order to meet our patient care goals;
- Promote provider engagement with our organization's goals, objectives, requirements, while ensuring regulatory compliance across our clinics;
- Participates in all ACO related internal and external trainings, orientations, and sessions;
- Train, guide, and educate clinic’s personnel on ACO attribution methodologies, panel growth efforts, panel retention programs, campaigns, and initiatives;
- Educate clinic personnel on the different ACO attribution methodologies;
- Reinforce clinic utilization of ACO tools;
- Meet with physicians, providers, clinic managers, and clinic care coordinators as needed to discuss and examine clinic's quality and cost savings performance;
- Educate and promote ACO support care services and referral process;
- Reinforce timely interventions by clinics according to care standards;
- Perform clinic need's assessments on an ongoing basis in order to better support clinics in their value-based care transformation journey;
- Acts as a representative of RGV ACO at community outreach events;
- Supports the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer on administrative areas involving the clinics.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required;
- Medical Assistant (MA) or Medical Office Specialist (MOS) preferred;
- If no MA or MOS certification, a Bachelor’s Degree in a medical field or management is preferred;
- Administrative experience preferred, but not required;
- Experience in primary care clinic setting preferred, but not required;
- Experience with ACOs or value-based care models preferred, but not required;
- Organizational skills;
- Detail-oriented;
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively;
- Ability to work in a fast-phased work environment;
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks;
- Ability to travel across the Rio Grande Valley.
License/Certification:
- Current driver's license;
- Medical Assistant (MA)
- Medical Office Specialist (MOS)

Compensation:
- $17-23 per hour (depending on level of education and experience);
- Performance-based bonus;
- Annual merit increase, if eligible;
