- Valid Driver’s License (required).
- DOT issued medical card (RGS will assist with any recertification/renewals) (required).
- MUST be able to lift over 50 lbs. consistently.
- Clean driving record.
- CDL Class A preferred, not required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (required).
Experience:
- 1-2 years driving a 26’ box truck (26,000 lb).
- 1 year of direct laborer experience (loading/unloading).
Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Assists in loading and unloading trucks at the shop, finisher, and job sites.
- Uses company-provided technology/software to properly track/scan material and finished products.
- Document required paperwork for shipping and receiving, and confirm all components (rail sections, hardware, etc.) are accounted for before leaving for deliveries or going to the finisher.
- Interacts with Project Managers and Plant Manager when at the shop and job sites.
- Work with employees while at the shop/job site to ensure the truck is loaded/unloaded with the right material and hardware per job.
- It is required to adhere to all motor vehicle laws while operating RGS-owned vehicles.
- Report any problems/issues or maintenance needed on trucks to the Manager.
- Required to work in the shop when not driving.
