What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Field Service Technician position at RGI Materials Inc?
Viking Aggregates Mobile Field Service Technician is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of heavy construction equipment, including loader, skid loaders diesel engines (dredges), dump trucks, various types of Crushers, conveyors and related machinery, directly at job sites or field locations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills. This is a mobile position requiring independent work at multiple job sites with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel to quarry sites and service heavy equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Operate and maintain your mobile service/ lube truck
- Reduce downtime and keep operations running smoothly
- 3 years of heavy equipment experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus!)
- Safety-focused and independent
