Job Description:
- This individual will be responsible for supporting the North America Supply Chain organization with sourcing projects related to Electro-Mechanical components.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support sourcing activities including RFQ/RFI preparation and analysis
- Gather drawings and technical requirements for RFQs
- Schedule technical reviews with suppliers and engineering as needed
- Submit first article inspection requests and follow up until completion
- Load supplier pricing in ERP system
- Oversee supplier readiness and material ramp up plans
- Follow up with suppliers for timely implementation
- Work with other functional departments for cadence reporting
Requirements:
- 3 years in a supply chain function in a manufacturing environment
- Project Management experience would also be a priority and handling suppliers, successfully developing the project and launching it.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- Experience with new supplier implementations for OEM.
- Ability to read Engineering drawings and work with drawing databases
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in MS office products including Excel and PowerPoint. MS Access a plus.
- Experience using JD Edwards Supply Chain Modules a plus
- Experience in the elevator industry a plus
Education:
- BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
