What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electromechanical assembler position at RGBSI?
Job Description:
- Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical Assemblers, Except Coil Winders, Tapers, and Finishers LL.US.51-2028, build wire harnesses to blueprint by connecting and twisting wires as required, spects, test for continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Use various hand/power tools and other assembly equipment
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Perform continuity checks on the electrical harnesses.
- Participate in compliance inspection Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Safely perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience working from written instructions, drawings, blue-prints, schematics, illustrations and/or process documentation to assemble a wide variety of electrical harnesses and subassemblies.
- Able to understand and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
- Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, wire
- cutters, pliers, heat guns and precision measuring equipment.
